Modeling. Acting. Personal Development.
Founded in 1939, Barbizon has grown to become a well-known establishment in the modeling and acting industry. We are constantly evolving to stay on the cutting edge of the modeling and acting industry and have grown from a single location on 5th Avenue in New York City to operations in over 200 markets worldwide. During this time we’ve kept our focus of nurturing dreams, a true belief in personal development and a commitment to self-confidence building.
Our business model is not just defined by the industry we operate in, but also the personal success of each and every student that participates in the Barbizon program. We believe in giving children and teens the skills that lead them to success in modeling, acting and in life. Although we can not guarantee the outcome or predict the future, we strive to provide a rewarding and uplifting experience that will carry our students through wherever life may take them. While we believe in industry innovation and evolution, we are also focused on a commitment to communication, customer service and providing more than just modeling and acting instruction; we’re providing a lasting experience.
The Barbizon experience is about discovering what makes you special, and developing your one-of-a-kind “star” quality for the whole world to see. Our expert modeling and acting training, along with life-skills instruction, will give you the confidence and tools to shine for a lifetime.
Curriculum offered may vary. Contact the Barbizon in your area for more details.

"Where to begin…Barbizon has changed my life in such a wonderful way! The classes have taught me to be proud of whom I am. From the first day, I knew it was a new beginning for me and for everyone else that was there with me! Barbizon should be a requirement for all teenage girls and boys! "
- Katelyn Hartsell, Barbizon Alumn
"Barbizon was such a life changing experience. Even from the first day, I met awesome people and was immersed in knowledge of the industry. I always looked forward to classes, it was my favorite time to come and learn about this new industry with other people like me."
