FUN-IN-THE-SUN WITH SHADES
Now that the summer months are vastly approaching, you'll need to start thinking about getting a pair of sunglasses to protect your precious peepers. Here are some tips to help you find the perfect sunglasses for your face shape:
If your face is HEART-SHAPED, opt for thinner frames that won't overpower your chin.
If your face is LONG, choose oversized square frames for balance.
If your face is ROUND, opt for rectangular styles that will minimize curves and give you a more angular look.
If your face is SQUARE, opt for rounder, curvy styles that will help soften your jaw line.
If your face is OVAL, you are one of the lucky ones because you can wear any style!
SKIN DEEP: SAFER WAYS TO ENJOY THE SUN
Now that you have chosen the perfect sunglasses for your face shape, let's talk about how to protect your delicate skin from the summer sun. Always remember that protection is a must! Here's a little Sunscreen 101:
What does SPF mean? It stands for Sun Protection Factor. So, if it normally takes you 10 minutes in the sun to get pink, an SPF of 15 will protect you 15 times longer (150 minutes). SPF 15 is good for daily use (like in your face moisturizer), but go with 30 or higher when you are spending several hours outside.
What are UVA and UVB? UVA and UVB are ultraviolet rays from the sun that can cause cancer, so you need a sunscreen that will protect you from both. UVA penetrates the skin's surface to cause wrinkles, while UVB affects the surface, causing sunburn.
Does everyone need it? YES, everyone of every skin color does!

Since runways are filled with light, models have to plan their makeup accordingly. Spotlights fade out the model's face so foundation color needs to be in a deeper shade while eyes require drama or they'll get lost under all the lights
