MR & MS BARBIZON CROWNED

Mark Valvano (MR BARBIZON), Barbizon of Cleveland graduate was the first of the two to catch our attention with his easy-going yet upbeat attitude?a rare combination to find. That patient demeanor will help him follow directions on location. As he'll discover, there are many "hurry up and wait" moments followed by intensely creative sessions with Pageantry and PromTime stylists, the wardrobing team and the art director, photographer, and photo-shoot production staff working behind the camera. Mark's personable attitude and mischievous grin, we believe, will help the other models to relax on the set and inspire some camera-friendly modeling interactions when our photographer is snapping away.

Jacq Voetglin (MS BARBIZON), Barbizon of Philadelphia graduate, was one of the last models we interviewed. She is a true natural beauty who has that "girl-next-door, love-at-first-sight" look. She revealed later she was very excited and extremely nervous during her interview, but you wouldn't have known it; Jacq was calm, cool, and collected, and conducted herself with incredible poise and grace. She admitted she had to thank the amazing preparation she received from Barbizon for her unflappable confidence. Her nerves were almost getting the better of her, she says, until she arrived at IMTA and "everything just clicked." She felt comfortable with her training and used that knowledge and self-assurance to her advantage.
